We worked here for two harvest seasons. It’s definitely hard work, but the locals are kind and the bosses are good as well. Communication is the only issue they tend to have. I understand that the work is weather dependent but to wake up early in the morning only to get told half an hour before work would start that there is no work because of rain is just not it. Other than that you can have loads of fun at work, good team, if it gets tough (7+ days of straight work or late finishes) the bosses will do some small favors like getting pizzas for everyone for lunch so that’s good. Accommodation is also really good, they got 3 different ones each with it negatives and benefits, but for just 20$/week you definitely can’t complain. Minimum wage is to be expected in that kind of job. Overall I’d recommend Williamson Kumara to every backpacker without hesitation!!
