Our story

We’re two backpackers who met during a kumara harvest job in Dargaville, New Zealand.

Long hours, hard work, and endless mud quickly turned into deep conversations about travel, shared experiences, and the reality of backpacker working conditions.

Somewhere between exhaustion and laughter, we realised we weren’t the only ones feeling lost, questioning our path, and searching for something more.

Why we built Farmdoor

Farmdoor was born from a simple belief: information should be accessible to everyone.

A space created by backpackers, for backpackers. Free to use, anonymous, and open to all.

Because sometimes, all you need is to know someone else has been there before.
